Set Them Free

I spent a lot of time this weekend with my buddy. He's moving out of state next week, so I was happy that we got a chance to see one another. On one hand I'm so sincerely happy for him - on the other hand, I'll really miss seeing him on a regular basis. The mixed emotions are really confusing. It's not often that you meet someone as special as he is. I'm going to focus on sending as much positive energy out to him as I can while he works through his move, and just be the best friend I can over the phone, online and with occasional visits. I'll really miss those hugs and the closeness that he and I shared. I guess Sting was right. If you love someone, set them free.
