Happy Thanksgiving

Happy turkey day to all. Yesterday I flew to my hometown far away from Dallas to spend the holiday with the fam. I haven't seen my parents since before moving back to Texas (April) so we have been doing a lot of catching up on things. I helped mom in the kitchen and the food was all great. But FOOD COMA!! Tomorrow sis and I are doing a bit of holiday shopping and then it's time to help with some chores at home. So far, so good.

Trying Something New

Some of you will be shocked, and others won't. A friend is the President of the Dallas Diablos Rugby Football Club and he's invited me to practice with them tomorrow night. I went to watch the Diablos women side play last weekend and was immediately interested in the game. It's very physical (obviously) but could be a great challenge and fellowship for me. So I've decided I am going to give it a try and see how it goes!
